With an energy rating of G, it’s fair to say the Nancy lifestyle cooler doesn’t win points for energy efficiency. However, it's important to consider that, when comparing Nancy to other drinks coolers on the market, many hold a similar rating.

As with most cooling appliances, there is no ‘stand-by’ option - these coolers must be kept on at all times to maintain their temperature. However, when we broke down the costs we discovered that Nancy uses approx/ 132kWH per annum, an average of £33* a year to run which is less than 9p per day. So if you’re after a mini-fridge/wine cooler, then we think Nancy's a pretty cost effective option.

The electronic control panel offers convenient features like "quick cool mode," maintaining a chilly 2°C for 12 hours after a shopping spree. The "quick freezer mode" keeps the freezer at -24°C for 24 hours, ideal for preserving fresh food. The powerful inverter compressor ensures energy efficiency by maintaining a consistent temperature.

With a 330-liter capacity, Florence's interior features include a salad crisper drawer, a wine rack, and adjustable shelving for maximum storage flexibility.

On the other hand, Betty, a smaller retro classic, boasts a spacious 206-liter capacity with a four-star rated top-mounted freezer. Internal shelving, a wine rack, and movable balconies provide easy and efficient storage options.

Energy Efficiency -

Due to the fridge freezers requiring a consistent cool temperature, neither are A-grade efficient when it comes to energy.

With an energy rating D, they are comparable with most other modern day refrigerators, with the average fridge freezer using between 200 and 500 kWh of electricity per annum. In comparison both fare well, with Florence hitting the lower end of this range at 246 kW.h, and Betty being more energy efficient than the average fridge freezer at 144 kW.h

Additional Bonus Feature:

Florence comes with a Quick Cool and Quick Freeze mode, meaning you can lock in the freshness of every shop. The Quick Cool mode lowers the fridge to 2°C for 12 hours, whilst The Quick Freeze drops to -24°C for 24 hours. This helps chill your items

quickly and efficiently and means when on standby you’re only paying for maintaining its temperature, not changing it.
